    The Geargo surge protector does exactly what it says it, protecting your RV electrical system and providing weather protection along the way.
    I had a chance to use it while camping and it performed admirably. The electrical plugs connected easily, and the plastic cover helps keep out rain and dirt. I do like the LED lights that quickly confirm that the source is wired properly and is (or isn't) safe to engage the RV connection.
    The handles give a good grip when disconnections the leads and the manufacturer even has a three-year warranty to cover the unit in case of failure.

    I ordered this piece when I replaced a non-functioning converter in my travel trailer. This circuit analyzer/surge protector is super easy to use and read the display, and it seems to be made of quality material. It does not feel light or cheap in any way. The included lock and cable is a nice bonus to keep sticky fingers from being temped to take this. So far so good!

    Surge protectors are one of those items that you never truly know if they work unless you have a power surge. I’m honestly hoping I don’t have to find out if this works, but as of right now, it seems to be. Installation is super easy, the surge protector plugs into the campground power pole and the trailer’s main power plugs into the surge protector. It looks nice and I feel safer with it plugged in. A low price for the protection it provides.

We also didn't lose power though so hard to say how it works against power surges. Will update if we ever have that experience.

    This is a great addition to your RV. It gives you the peace of mind that when you connect shore power at a campground or generator that the connection is stable and if there should be a power surge it wont cook your eletronics in your camper. Protects all of your appliances from power surges. Lets you know that the wiring is correct wherever you may hook up. This can protect you from costly repairs and without it your trip could possibly be ruined. Comes with a handy cable and lock that locks to a metal ring on the cord. Not Plastic. Easy to read lights on the top and all the diffrent light configurations tell you what the status of the power source is. Has a protective cover to keep your connection dry. I highly reccomend this for everyone with an RV or camper.
