    So happy I decided to get this cord even though I found my original Toyota factory one.
    I keep one at work and one at home. This one I got off Amazon charges the car almost 3 miles more than the factory. It’s not a lot but every little bit counts and it just impressive that it does a better job than the factory model cord. Very happy with this purchase

    Bought this about a year ago to charge our vehicle. We had been using it regularly, and one day it was black and fused to our electric receptacle (NEMA 6-20).

    Our electrician who installed the receptacle came today to look at it, and noticed that the plug was screwed in - not fused, and spliced. The short cord running from the box on the charging cable to the plug for the receptacle was also significantly smaller in diameter than the cord to the vehicle.

    It was melted, blackened, and ruined the receptacle. Which isn't bad except for the fact that it could have caused a fire and burned down my house.

    Do not buy this if you care about your house or the contents inside.

    Works fine, solid base with a single light to indicate status. (no hardware controls, or settings). have to log into its wifi and access the 192. to get to the settings and adjust the amps, and time settings etc. So far has achieved what I expected and had no issues communicating with the KIA EV6 for a night or weekend boost.

    Includes a simple wall attachment to placed the plug unit. comes with the adaptor as stated for that level 1, and level 2 plugs. Does come with a storage bag you could toss in the frunk if needed.

    I am leasing a Hyundai Ioniq 6 for 3 years that came with 2 years of free charging. Because I only need charging for that last year of the lease I did not want to drop $3K on a level 2 charging outlet in the garage. The car did come with a standard 120V AC charge cable but that cable took about 45 hours to add 50% to the battery charge. This cable on the other hand adds 50% in a third that time - about 15 hours. That's a game changer for me. Granted I work from home so it's no problem at all to have my car sit for 15 hours. But even if I didn't work from home I could stick it on the charger every night and as long as I'm not driving more then 80 miles a day I could easily start every day at 80% charge just having it charge while I sleep. As others have said, and this is important, it needs to be plugged into an outlet that has a 20 amp breaker. Plugged into a 15 amp outlet will likely throw the breaker.

    I needed a level 2 charger for my Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV and this was my choice. I already have NEMA 6-20 220v power in my garage so this was a no brainier. Works just as it should - fast. The Hyundai 110v charger that came with the car like all level 1 chargers is super slow charging. I guess it's just fine if you only charge overnight but if you want to top off your EV during the day quickly then Level 2 is the only way to go.

    We just leased our first EV, Kia EV6 GT, and needed a charging cable as it wasn't included. Read the reviews and this cable offers the flexibility of 110 and 220 charging. We have only been using 110 as we don't have a 220 outlet yet, and it has worked flawlessly. Plugged in and started working quickly and can get from about 75% to 100 in less than 24 hours. Great product, definitely recommend.

    I live in a high traffic, high crime area so I wanted a charger I would cry over being stolen or messed with. I tried this with a 120v GFCI outlet and it would trip it immediately but so does my Tesla Mobile Charger. Unfortunately it seems this is a common issue and one of the frustrating things that the J1772 spec does which is call for a test > than the GFI trip level to test ground before charging. The outlet was brand new and plugging it into a non GFI outlet didn't cause a GFI error on the charger (or the Tesla charger). With the 2020 code requiring GFCI outlets outside and chargers nearly universally causing nuisance trips, the EVSE companies need to do a better job of throttling back their ground test amperage to actually work with more GFCI outlet installations.

    Anyway, so far the charger has worked as advertised on a Nema 6-20r 250v, 20A outlet. I was seeing 244volts and 16A to my Model 3 which translates into 15 miles of charger per hour.

    After having been using this almost daily for a month, I can finally review it. I'll admit I had my doubts due to the price but decided I'd try it out anyway. For the record, I've been using it to charge a 2023 VW ID.4. First I used the 110v for about a week. It's slow, but expected because it's level 1. Still, I was able to fully charge (to 80% as recommended) every day. Then once I installed my 220v plug in the garage, I was able to use it for level 2 charging and it works really well. I'm able to go from about 50% to 80% in just a few hours. Since that time it has been through rain, hail, cold, blistering hot, lightning, and power outages and it never once has given me any issues. Safe to say, this is a charger that's worth every penny.
