    I decided to purchase another level 2 charging cable after forgetting mine at home each time I visited my mom. I see her at least once a month so the purchase of one was well worth it instead of running to local charging station and sitting in the car for an hour. This one comes with its own pouch which is really convenient for a mom who wants to keep things put away and neat. 😆 It's been a great purchase so far. I've had it for almost 6 months now with no issue.

    Works with my 2020 Hyundai kona electric. Pulling 32 amps as that is the vehicles max charging speed. Been using it for about 5 months now and haven't has any issues. When I had the NEMA 14-50 outlet installed the grounding wire slipped off of the connector in the outlet for some reason. When we plugged in the charger it said that there was a ground fault. We took apart the plug and saw the wire that popped off and fixed it. The charger then worked with no issues. Nice that the charger found this issue with the outlet box wiring and notified us.

    Using as a slightly faster charger for our 2023 Chevy Bolt EUV for the last 2 weeks. Car finishes a charge about 10% faster than usual. Biggest differences over the included Chevrolet L2 charger is the cable running from the converter to car plug - it's extremely thick and heavy and that much more unwieldy to plug in and set aside. I can't honestly say it bothers me enough to want to switch back, but there have been an awful lot of moments where I struggled to wrangle the beast. The handle elements are definitely a bit cheaper and I can't yet testify to its longevity.

    Overall, I'm pretty happy though! If I needed to replace a broken L2 charger, I would probably purchase this over a Chevy-branded unit.

    I had previously bought a more expensive charger with an amp so it had Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Filled into it but at the end of the day all that didn’t really work the app wasn’t so good and it lasted about a week. I ended up going with us as it was about $200 cheaper And while it doesn’t have an app it works. I don’t even think it had directions. I just plugged it in and it works so sometimes I think no-frills is the way to go. This is definitely no-frills boy and charges my car very fast I would highly recommend it.

    I've only had this unit a short time but thought it deserved a review. It delivers 40 amps (almost 10kw). The power setting can be adjusted (hold your finger over the button for a few seconds). You can also delay the charge but generally this is easier to set up on your vehicle. The screen reports incoming voltage, charging amps, kw charged this session and the units temperature. If there's an app, I don't use it. I like that it is plug and play. It seems well made, doesn't get hot and hasn't given me a lick of trouble. There are some units selling for triple the price that don't deliver the amps this charger does.
    A simple charger that delivers the highest amps you can get with a plug. Value for money is very high!

    I don't take the time normally to write reviews.
    I have to do it for this charger because of it's quality and price.
    40 amp is about the highest that most ev onboard chargers can take.
    If your vehicle has a lower max input that's fine, because you will be future proof with this.
    If later you get a EV that can take 40 amp you already have it.
    For the $200 ish price, even the 16 amp chargers cost that much.
    Cons....
    You will need to have the larger 220v plug (clothes dryer sizes plug) installed where you plan to use this charger.
    Also the cord is allot thicker and heavier than those on the smaller 16 amp chargers.
    But, will be worth handling the bulky cord if it charges your car 3 times faster.

    Update I've used this daily for last 6 months. Bought another one yesterday.
    6 months ago I paid $207 yesterday I bought second one for $179.
    I will update if this ever fails but so far it charges extremely fast and has been reliable.
    I own 4 plug-in-able electric cars. I have 2 other slower chargers and 2 of them have failed.
