This was a gift to my sister for her first child. She said it was cute and continent as it turned and it was easy to take the baby in and put him back in the car seat. No big mess or trouble.

The bigger my baby got, the harder it was to lean down and over to get him in and out. This was the best Christmas present ever, saves my back and makes it so much easier to get a wiggly, resistant toddler buckled in. Cupholders are nice, it's been wiping clean very well in the 10 months that we've owned it, and I love that it will also rotate front-facing when the time comes (other rotating car seats don't do both). It's relatively easy to install (let's face it, no car seat is "a breeze" to install, but this one wasn't any more difficult than others, at least). Everyone who sees me using it is super jealous, and I recommend it to everyone.

We love this car seat. We have one child so the car seat is in the middle of the back seat and the swivel feature makes it so easy to get her in and out, and for her to start helping herself in and out. Seems to be much quicker for us compared to other parents at daycare. After one year we’ve had no issues with the seat. The cover is easy enough to remove and wash and being able to leave the base in while taking the seat inside to clean is very convenient. We don’t normally move the seat from car to car but have had to do it twice in emergencies and being able to move the base independently makes it so easy to swap. The removable cup holders are easy to clean. Our daughter seems to love the seat, no issues with rubbing or crankiness. It’s a snug fit in the back seat of a Prius but it does fit with just a little bit of rubbing on the front seats, but not enough to cause any excess wear on the seat.

It is definitely on the pricier end of carseats, but being able to rotate it makes it so much more comfortable for you and baby. I got it for my 11 month old and she is so much happier with her new space. I haven't had to wash it yet, but I hope it's not too bad. I also had a hernia surgery recently and the rotation feature is less strenuous on my core.

SIZE: I have a Toyota RAV 4 and she is rear-facing behind the passenger seat. I had to move my passenger seat forward to accomadate the carseat. I am 5'2" and losing some leg room didn't bother me, but it did make it cramped for taller/heavier passengers.

You can't get the older model anymore that I just got, but I'm so glad we spent the extra money for this. If you can swing it, this has been very nice so far. I hope it works for the next 2-3 years at least.

For everything this carseat advertises it delivers. It's WAY easier to install or move than people make it out to be. I've heard horrible things about it getting stuck or hard to install. And while it is different than other carseats we've had and had a bit of a learning curve, just read the directions first. It lays it out. Don't rely on "I've installed a million and they're all the same", because that won't work here and you'll be frustrated. But once you get it- easy.
Also if it's stuck it's because it's reclined. Easy to forget and hidden in the instructions.

It turns SO EASY. But even if another child is right next to them they can't turn the seat so the safety feature there is A+.

It seems very comfortable and my 1yr is much calmer in the car since upgrading from the infant carrier.

HOWEVER. the biggest flaw with this we discovered too soon, and it's a big one. We won't be buying another because of this. You can't clean it.
Sure you can take the fabric off and wash it. But the base shell of the turning part of the seat (forgive me I don't know the proper term, but not the part that locks into the car, the top part) CANNOT be cleaned if dirty. And I'm not talking crumbs. I'm talking if you get a big blowout diaper or baby throws up, it all pools in there following the belt track, and there is absolutely nothing you can do. It even came out the seams under the seat. Hosing it down makes the entire seat trash/unsafe. You can't open it or get in there with wipes or ANYTHING. I spent HOURS cleaning p**p out with qtips. Not sure if there's anyway around this, but I was really upset.

Other than the cleaning aspect, this seat is the best we've ever had for any of our kids. I hope they make a fix for this and they'll have us forever.

Wanted a swivel car seat from the day I found out I was pregnant but waited until my little was a bit older and we didnt need to use the infant seat with the stroller all the time. My little is almost 10 months old, and in the last few months has started hating being in her car seat. She would cry as soon as we sat her in it and until we took her out. This car seat has made such a difference so far(but we are only 3 or 4 days into using it). The install was simple, but also a little tricky for me. The base seems very stable, but once the seat is on it it no longer seems that stable. I assume its because the seat pivots, I did have my husband come and check my install. My little seems very comfortable in this seat! Being able to load her in and then turn it to rear facing is a game changer for us!!! So glad I finally purchased this and it will continue to work and grow with her for years to come!!!

I have 3 kids and have used many different car seats. My favorite convertible has been the Chicco Nextfit Zip, until now. I debated on spending the money on this seat when I have a perfectly good rear facing seat already but the great reviews combined with the thought of not having to heave my baby up over the side of the rear facing seat convinced me to give it a try. At first, I wasn’t sure I was going to like it but after using it for a few weeks, I love it!

Pros: 1) the option to swivel both forward and rear facing is by far the biggest pro. It is so much easier to get my baby in and out and to make sure he is buckled in securely since I’m not at such an awkward angle trying to get him in. He also doesn’t whine about being buckled in like he used to. The swivel feature is easy to use and turns smoothly without much effort 2) I like that the seat comes out of the base for installation which makes the car seat much lighter and easier to maneuver than having to carry it all in one. 3) Seems pretty comfy and has options to help make it comfy depending on the size of your child including removable body padding, head rest and different crotch buckle options. 4) the built in cup holders are nice

Cons: 1) I havent had to wash the padding and cover yet but it looks like it might be a pain to take off and put back on. It definitely won’t be easier than the Nextfit zip where I can just zip it on/off. 2) the harness strap material is much thinner and more flexible than my other car seat straps which allows them to get twisted easily. However, they are also easy to untwist. 3) Only 2 reclining levels which means that it does take up more room rear facing than my other car seats which I can sit up more. But it’s really only a couple inches difference. 4) I chose to install with the seatbelt so I don’t have to worry about weight limits with the latch system. It was not the trickiest car seat I’ve installed but also not the easiest. 5) Doesn’t feel quite as sturdy as my Britax and Chicco seats but I’m assuming it had to pass the same safety testing which is the most important part to me.

Overall, I’m very happy with this car seat and would recommend it!!!

This is a nice car seat. I want to say that right off the bat. I am a grandmother with a hefty little grandson that was hard to place into his current car seat so I wanted the swivel which is great! The car seat base was not the easiest to install but OK with my son in law muscles.
The one drawback is in tightening and loosening the baby safety straps. Because the head rest is in the low position, the strap "comfort" padding (which is stitched on) causes it to get stuck. This makes it exceedingly hard to loosen the straps to get him out of the car seat. I think when he is a bit bigger and the head rest is pulled up more it may not be as big of an issue, as the comfort straps should not get stuck. Both the chest release button and the lower release buttons are not easy to use. The chest release button you have to push at just the correct angle to get it to loosen. I wish the mechanisms were smoother. The lower release button is not located in a great place. As you push down on the button to release the strap, the placement of the button, actually causes you to stop the release as you are trying to release it. I think the design engineers were only focusing on the swivel, which is great. But lost site of the other basic pieces like light tightening and loosening the straps.

I scoped out all the rotating car seats and got this one cause it wasn't exorbitantly expensive compared to some and its been a dream to use! My son seems comfortable in it and it is so easy to put him in the car without banging his head on the door jam and contorting myself to strap him in. I have two older girls, so I'm familiar with the alterntives and this is a dream! The safety features of securing the base have improved over the years and i like that it feels super sturdy. My only drawback would be that the SUV seat its secured to slides forward and back, but because of the seat belt lock (if you choose to use it) prevents the seat from being able to move... but we just use the other side of the car for that. I love it! We got it in blue, and its great. Lots of padding and adjustable recline. Love love love!

So I’m the mom who hits her kids head off the car every tiiiiiime I put them in the car because I’m focusing on which way to face them and put them feet first.. come onnnn. But we recently bought two of these! Putting the kid in the car with them facing you is the best thing ever. Like putting them in a stroller but it’s in the car and you do it so much more and it rocks. Thing number 2 I love is that I can face my baby to the rear when there is no one in my passenger seat. I have a 2019 Honda Civic hatchback and there’s not a lot of room for car seats. But I like safety and being able to rear face him when it’s just me and him, and then being able to face him fwd when we need some room. GAME CHANGER. This seat is awesome. We have one in each of our cars which helps my husband because he can’t figure out new things, make it easy on him AND ME because I don’t have to run to his rescue to explain something that he refuses to listen to anyway. So it helps my kid not get brain damage, helps whoever rides in the passenger seat not have to sit at the dashboard like a table and hubby knows how to work it. He put the bases in our cars and I don’t think it’s coming out until he goes to a booster. Lol. I love being able to spin that sucker whatever way he should face that day.
