    this carseat overall has been great. I did have a nicu baby so it was bulky taking up and down for the seatbelt test, and leveling it can be confusing for a first time parent, but my son has had absolutely no issues. i did have to take off the strap padding because hes so small, but they will probably be back soon. its easy to move the seat and its got several settings to rear-face as long as possible. In a small 4door car the seat has a great fit leaving plenty of room for someone else to sit in the back and doesnt seem to affect the front seat positioning yet. over all, very glad i spent the money

    My husband installed this and says the straps are nearly impossible to tighten, he had to stand on the chair basically to get it tight enough and even then he thinks it rocks more than it should.

    Our toddler was in an Evenflo Revolve360 but hit the max for rear-facing for that and we wanted to keep him rear-facing longer for safety reasons so we got this car seat. It’s much lighter (husband thinks “cheaper” feeling”) than the Evenflo, and so much harder to install.

    He read the reviews on here seeming to indicate the difficulty in tightening the straps to install is more of a quality issue as some people say it’s very easy and some say it is very hard. He didn’t want to bother sending it back to try a different one so we’re just stuck with this one, maybe it’ll be easier when it goes forward facing.

    The seat itself, functionality-wise and comfort-wise, as far as I can tell, are fine. Right now our 2.5 year old has been using it for a few months and it’s been good.

    The overall car seat is good quality and easy to adjust which is awesome. Front to back width is smaller than some others I’ve seen which is a plus if you have a smaller car. Only thing I didn’t love was the install, everyone said it was easy so it could be user error but I found it to be pretty tricky and take a lot of elbow grease to get it right. You also have to uninstall and reinstall whenever you want to adjust the recline.

    The Good:
    -As of the time of writing, the Extend2fit 3-in-1 was the top rated carseat almost everywhere I looked, and for good reason. It's easy to install and feels very solid in the car. I love the extension that gives my kid more legroom in the rear facing position.
    - Easy to tighten the straps. There's a subtle ratcheting effect as you tighten. It feels reassuring, like I can be confident the straps will not slip or get looser while I drive.
    - The extra legroom makes it easier to get my toddler in and out of the seat.

    The Bad:
    - You have to take the seat out of the car and detach the harness straps to remove the seat pad for cleaning. What the heck, Graco?!?
    - Part of the seat pad is held on with teensy wire dress hooks. I can't see them lasting.
    - The listing has multiple car seat models listed together. They're not the same seat at all. Be careful ordering.

    The Odd:
    - Stocklyn is an unusual color. It's definitely for cars with a markedly warm-hued tan or brown interior.
    I thought it looked black and greige in the photos. In person the black part looks more like brownish-black. The light part is a warm brownish beige. It's a very warm color overall. It clashed with my car's black interior so I returned it and got Hamilton, which is a true black color.
