    We got this as an upgrade for our first child. We specifically got the slimfit3 lx due to its small size of 16inches wide and it's ability to fit 3 across in a car. Unlike the other slimfit models this one is the slimmest and will actually fit three across, you have to pay attention to the model you're looking at buying and the width.
    For the slimfit3 lx, the installation was easy using the latch system, the instructions were very clear. I like that there are two options for the recline and we're able to sit the baby up more if needed. She is way more comfortable in this than her infant car seat and I'm glad we upgraded. This carseat has more airflow than her other seat too and it helps keep her cooler when its hot out. I love that this seat will last us through the years as she ages. I like that in the future it can be converted to front facing harness and then into a booster, making it good for all ages. The headrest adjusts to fit the baby better as they grow and allows you time before hitting the 40lb weight limit for rear facing. The seat itself is very sturdy, not too heavy, only 19lbs, and its easy to transfer cars if needed. I feel confident in this seat and am glad after researching that we went with this one. This is an investment but im beyond happy we got it because it can be used for such a long time as our baby grows! Highly recommend to every parent needing a slim profile, comfortable and sturdy car seat for their baby or kid.

    If you are looking for a car seat that easily fits three across in a sedan (2013 Subaru Legacy), this one will do the trick. They are a little on the pricey side, but my husband and I justified it as they are significantly less expensive than upgrading to a different car and having a monthly car payment. They came fully assembled in the box, just had to remove the infant pillow inserts. They were easy to install. The user guide recommends installing with the seat buckle, rather than the LATCH system if you are installing 3 across, it allows for better adjustments. I had to play around with the car seat positions a little bit, originally I tried to install the infant carrier (Graco Snugride 35) in the middle seat, but wasn't able to get it in and out easily. So I settled on the forward facing seat in the middle, my son can walk in and get into the seat on his own and then I secure his buckles, and then the two rear facing car seats in the outer seat positions. I'm very pleased with the fit of these seats and the ease of use.

    I drive a Chevy Cruze hatchback and this car seat is so compact yet somehow has plenty of room for my daughter to grow! We bought two and our nanny also uses one in her van and does three across with this being one of the seats. Highly recommend.

    I owned this car seat for a little over a year before I was in car accident. I was rear ended while at complete stop by a pickup truck as you can see my car is smaller. My child sat behind the driver seat and where he was sitting the panel was folded and the backseats were pushed in a little from impact. This seat did not budge! I had it latched it. My sons was still buckled it correctly and nothing was loose. I did and will re-buy for my younger one.

    I don’t usually write reviews but this one quite stunned me! I bought the Graco SlimFit3 LX 3in1 and I was skeptical about buying them, I wasn’t sure about them fitting in my 3rd row of my suburban. Well all 3 of them fit perfectly! They kids love them and say they’re really comfy! The features are nice and really easy to adjust belt buckle and harness! Would definitely recommend to anyone that needs 3 across in a suv!

    This lets me put 3 across in a full size Range Rover. With practice, the two booster-seat riding 7 year olds can buckle themselves. The Graco seat is lovely: the straps don’t bind when loosened. Padding is plentiful & feels well built. My 2 year old seems to love it. This is a huge step up in quality from our past Graco seats.

    We had 2 of the Graco 4ever seats, and they’re great but take up a lot of room. We upgraded to these SlimFit3 seats, and now I can comfortably sit between the two seats when I need to comfort my 10 month old. The only downside is that the SlimFit3 only has 4 recline positions whereas the Graco 4ever has 6 recline positions.

Also it sits closer to the actual seat in the car so they have way more leg room when forward facing ! Also love the easy remove cup holders so if they are in the way just remove!!! All over wonderful carseat
