    Purchased this camera after using the Z5. I find using this camera to be an enjoyable experience. I like the overall design of the body and button layout. I like the auto focus, touch screen and image quality. I will be mainly using this camera for portrait, landscape, nature and macro photography. Although I own the D850 and D800, among others, this camera will get plenty of use.

    The past ten years I've been shooting with NIKON D5200 and it took decent photos with the 35mm prime however, I always had trouble keeping the images crisp as my hands aren't as steady as they once were. I watched hours of youtube before settling on the NIKON Z6II and I am blown away with the image quality. It's almost effortless which allows me to worry more about composition. I would highly recommend this body to anyone looking to spend a little more on a full frame and wants to go mirrorless. The only complaint I have is the Autofocus is a bit finnicky, but that may just be user error as I am still getting used to it. I tend to shoot in manual to make sure I get the shot I want.

    I bought this camera upgrading from a D3500 after using my school's Sony A7iii and realizing i wanted a mirrorless camera, and boy have i gotten more than I expected. This is a gorgeous camera that I've used to take photos in the worst lit conditions and have come out with some absolutely gorgeous photos. I'm so happy with my purchase and I highly recommend it to anybody wanting to get into the Nikon mirrorless market. The touch screen is very responsive, the autofocus is better than almost any other camera i've used including the Sony a7iii, and the photo quality is incredible and crisp, i've been able to get some wonderful prints. The only problem I have with it is I've dropped it 2 times and the auto switch between the viewfinder and monitor is a little buggy but that's my only complaint and it's my fault. Otherwise I absolutely recommend and adore this camera!

    Mid-2021, I finally upgraded from my Nikon D750 DSLR into the world of mirrorless with the Nikon Z7ii. I was drawn to the insane resolution (45MP) of the Z7ii along with its video capabilities, and it definitely served me well.

    When the time came to add a second camera (as a backup and for second shooting), the Z6ii became an obvious choice. They are similar enough to be redundant (same controls, batteries, menus, default white balances), but different enough to add new capabilities:

    The lower resolution and higher speed of the Z6ii specialises it for action and sports over the Z7ii, allowing me to shoot, sort, and edit hundreds (or thousands) of photographs from a day's event with much reduced transfer and processing times as compared with the Z7ii. I also find its battery lasts a bit longer, even while video shooting, and its memory card stays cooler longer; allowing for longer video clips.

    The Z6ii + the Z7ii together make a great team.
