    Theres a lot of pockets and my stuff from my old backpack fit in nicely with me still having loads of space!!! it feels like pretty good material. I was worried about the bad reviews but honestly it seems like a durable backpack, really just take care of it. The main thing i dont really like much is that the backpack straps are kind of stiff and the backpack doesnt go as low as i want it so i look a bit funny. Really good besides that though. On the pictures it also has chains on the zippers but it came with little ties on it instead (which i like anyway.)

    My kid used this bag for two years. It was not, by any definition, lightly used. She flat out abused it. The bottom started to peel off. I went to Jansport's website, printed out the warranty form, and mailed it to them without much hope. I got an email saying (not surprisingly) it could not be fixed and a gift card code for $60. Loyal customer for life.

    I've had my pack a couple of months now, and it seems to be well-constructed and durable. I was initially nervous about how compact it was, but is nicely designed to have quite a bit of space within a compact footprint. As others have commented, the zippers can be a little awkward due to the protective fabric "lip" covering them. The zipper does NOT get caught in the fabric, however, in my experience.

    The only reason for the 4-star rating is that I wish it were about an inch taller to fit my 15-inch laptop. It does fit, but snugly, and I worry that the pressure against the top of the pack may result in extra wear over time.
