    Down here in SE Texas everything rusts out within 1-2 years so instead of purchasing a $400-500 BBQ that will rust out in 2 years I will go through the non-expensive units each year. Works great and if I need an extra for a larger party I will buy another.

    My 6 year old wanted a grill for his birthday….Yes a grill!!! So we purchased this for him and he loves it and so do we! It’s really convenient especially when we don’t want to use the big huge pit we have or on a rainy day when we feel like cooking on the porch. It’s small enough for my 6 year old and it’s big enough for us to cook steaks for our family of 5 on it. We also did some veggies and it was great! Even me and my girlfriends enjoyed making burgers on it! Definitely would purchase again or maybe a bigger one!

    Great small portable grill that is perfect for camping or anywhere where a portable grill may be needed. This thing gets hot fast and surprisingly has more room than you might think. My only gripe is a wish it had some kind of handles on the bottom so it could be moved when hot, or even a way to lock the cover so could be moved. Other than that once coals are dumped it cools down quick enough. I was able to find a carry bag for it that makes moving it around way more convenient and makes this thing way more practical to travel with. Definitely worth it and I've grilled some excellent food on this thing.

    Great price, works amazingly well, light and portable. This is my camping BBQ and we take it whenever we go out to the woods. Very light. Fights nicely in a large canvas sack. The way the heat is directed back to the center means you only need a very small amount of charcoal to create a lot of heat. My third one in 12 years. They seem to last about 4 years and then they start to rust out, but we use ours on beaches, in the rain, and other not so good for metal places. Highly recommend this BBQ.

    Depois de quase 8 anos na área externa, a minha primeira churrasqueira igual a essa corroeu, e comprei novamente, para mais 8 anos. Possivelmente se guardada em área interna, duraria muito mais (a grelha e a tampa estão inteiras). Altamente eficiente na queima do carvão, a utilizo como churrasqueira mesmo, e não BBQ americano (defumação). Pode custar mais que outros modelos similares, mas essa é imbatível. Vale cada centavo investido.

    This is a grill for two. You can put two nice steaks on it but you’ll have to choose between the two baked potatoes or the two ears of corn besides the steaks - or plan ahead and cook those first and separately. It is capable of pretty high an pretty even heat. I still have some trouble maintaining a consistent lower level of heat even with the vents but that may simply be a function of all charcoal grills combining with my inexperience - I am traditionally a gas grill guy. There is no room on this small grill for a “hot side” and an “indirect heat side” as you can do with a larger grill, so plan your meal accordingly: keep it simple. I typically close the vents in the top after I’m done for the day; it smothers itself quickly and the next time I grill I reuse the remaining leftover charcoal. Emptying the ashes is easy as the grill fits inside your typical garden trash bag - just cover the cool grill and then turn it upside down and the ashes fall into the bag and you’re done.

    The quality of the grill is typical Weber -it’ll last until you finally someday choose to give it away and buy a different model Weber. I’ve used Weber Customer service (for a failed fastener on my gas grill), and it’s excellent although you will never need it for this model with nothing to fail.

    Now: having said all this, DON’T BUY THIS GRILL. Buy the next model up of the same grill which has a latch bar which locks the grill cover to the grill. It is much easier to transport and to store. It is the same grill with the same performance but much more convenient to move around and that is worth a couple more dollars.

The instruction manual for use oglf the unit is very detailed and familiarises the user thoroughly how to use the gtill. Extremely happy with the purchase.

    I’m older and I can’t grill on my balcony because it’s against the rules. However there’s a park nearby I can use it’s not light but I can still make it to the park. It’s a great grill for one or two people for burgers hotdogs and steaks It’s charcoal so it’s going to taste great better than a gas grill. That’s my opinion. If you’re looking for a barbecue and most southerner could explain the difference grill are not smokers (OK this one could be turned into a smoker go to YouTube and Do it yourself)there are other “Products” to Consider. You can buy a cheaper grill if you’re going to have to replace it probably after season or two this one’s built to last just follow the manufacturers instructions. Weber does make portable charcoal grills that can be carried with handles at my age not a good idea if they’re filled with hot coals.The one drawback with this grill is it doesn’t come with a temperature gauge it could be added as a do it yourself project but I wish weber had this is an option.
