The mat is very soft and cushioned, so even on a hardwood floor, baby is comfortable! It is made of high quality materials and set up is quick and easy. What I like most is the included toys, especially the piano which plays 40 calming melodies. Most helpful in calming a fussy baby! I also love that my baby is learning and developing motor skills as well as strengthening her little body. It is very colorful, has different textures for baby to explore and is easily moved from room to room. Made with SAFE materials and is of good size. I would highly recommended this for any newborn as it can be used past the newborn stage. 5 stars all the way!
