    This is an excellent charger for J1772 standard electric vehicles (all electric vehicles except Tesla).
    This is a handy portable charger to take with you on the road or if have guests that drive electric vehicles.

    It comes with a carrying case and connects to.a 240v or 120v outlet.
    The amperage is adjustable, although you can't set over 15 amps with the 120v

    Using 240 at full amperage it will charge at high speed.

    The cable is 26ft which is also very handy. In one instance I was able to hook it up to 240 plug in the laundry room and it reached the car in the garage.

    This cord is 3 hours faster than my OEM charger that took over 7 hours to charge my PHEV. Charges on a standard 120v outlet a little over 4 hours. With the NEMA 14-50, it fully charges in a little over 2 hours. Heavy duty cord with a lot of length.

    Charge well and has 32A max, so roughly charging 48km per/hr. It will know the current once connect to the car and will adjust accordingly, but for any reason one don’t want to charge at max rate then yes, there are many different current settings. Read instructions menu and follow. Nice and big storage bag for carrying anywhere. Can always buy a Tesla adapter to charge any Tesla models.

    Though we had a 240V outlet installed in our garage because it provides far superior charging performance, one of the greatest features of this charger is the ability to plug it into a standard North American 120V plug using the included adapter. Charing performance on 120V is super-slow by comparison but the ability to use 120V when that's all that's available means you're unlikely to EVER get completely stranded... just that you may need some extra time to charge.

    Ultimately, it's never going to provide the performance of a dedicated, fixed charging station... but for the price, it's an excellent portable option or backup.

    First the specs: my car was drawing 7kW on a 240v/ 40A circuit, down rated to 32A by the charger. For the price this is an excellent home and travel charger.

    What I like: 26' long cable makes placement and access easy.
    - J1772 standard level-2 allows multi-vehicle charging
    - NEMA 14-50P and 5-15P (16A max) plugs make it easy to use at home and on the road
    - simple multi-function display - allows variable voltage 6-32A), delay timer up to 5 hrs
    - IP56 Waterproof rating and a wide temp range allows -25 to +55 C use.
    - comes with a large zippered and padded case, which holds the main unit as well as the the included adapter. There is enough room in the case for a J1772-Tesla/NACS adapter (not included)

    The fit and finish is very good and the outer cable remains warm but easy to handle after use. The unit has over-temperature protection but I've yet to trip it. This entire set is more affordable than several OEM chargers we've seen and is a really good value for home and cottage use.

    The electric car charging cable is supplied together with a bag. The quality of the cable is very good and the entire device looks absolutely robust.
    With a length of 26foot, you have enough leeway. The cable can be plugged in very easily in the car and is absolutely secure.
    There are no problems whatsoever during the charging process. It goes without saying that the charger is IP66 waterproof.

    The price-performance ratio is fine. I give it a full 5 stars.
