    Bought to replace the cable on my level 2 charger as Suncountry wouldn't sell me a new plastic clip. Just cut off and strip the female extension port...More
    Bought to replace the cable on my level 2 charger as Suncountry wouldn't sell me a new plastic clip. Just cut off and strip the female extension port, wired it up and it worked great. Wire gauge is the same as my old cable. Only reason this gets 4 stars is that the cable jackets is plasticy and doesn't bend well.

    Only have a level 1 charger at the moment and this cable allows me to extend down the full length of the driveway. Previously we had to play musical cars to be able to charge the vehicle but this makes life so much easier now.

    I bought this 21ft extension cable because the charging spots are always ICED. I was able to plug it in and still got the same 32A speed at the level 2 charging station. It comes with a carrying bag which makes storing it easy in my trunk.

    The build quality is pretty sturdy and it doesn't heat up when charging all day. This cable is only compatible with J1772 and not CCS or Chademo. I've been using it for a while and never gotten a warning pop up or anything.

    I recommend this product and you never know when you'll need it until you're low on charge and someone is blocking it.

    My wife loves this extension for the charger for our Hyundai Ioniq PHEV. It allows her to plug in the car, even when she can't park right next to an outlet. The charger plugs into the car and the charger seamlessly and doesn't seem to impact charging time. The only potential issue is that there is no way to lock the charger to the extension, which means someone could easily steal the charger, which would cost about $500. But otherwise we are quite pleased with this extension.

    This is rated for 32A so I used it on a 32A level two charging station. After a number of employees charged their vehicles, none of them indicated any change in the charging rate. There might be a change, but it wasn't large enough to be casually noticeable. Good enough. Was very useful as we have a tight space there in the parking area and it's nice to just use the extension cable rather than ask someone to park in some weird configuration.
