    We just purchased our first EV a couple months ago. We quickly realized that the slow charger included with our Mach-E wasn't going to be practical for everyday use. After reading a lot of reviews, we decided to purchase the Wallbox. It's the version that has the NEMA plug already attached (versus the hardwired one). After our electrician installed the NEMA wall outlet for us, this was a simple plug-and-play affair. The app took a few minutes to install the updates, but it has worked like a charm from day one. We like that you can monitor your energy usage per session. Plus, you can set schedules so that you are only charging during off-peak hours. Every once in a while, there is a miscommunication between the wallbox and our vehicle. However, our vehicle alerts us and it's easily remedied by unplugging and re-plugging to the car. A+ purchase, we would buy again!

    The main reason to choose Wallbox charge was its size, all others were larger and I was limited to a concrete pedestal at a condo parking, so this was a limiting factor. The other main consideration was being able to adjust the amp rate on the charger. I had wired the pedestal with THHN#8 so I was limited to a 40 AMP breaker being able to charge at 32 amps to the car battery. This was acceptable for my Tesla Model 3 and plenty of juice for my wife's Volvo XC60 hybrid.
    I had a little trouble getting my account start up but it was more of an inflicted pain than getting it set up. Furthermore, Wallbox customer service were super helpful and in no time I was up and charging. My wife and myself take turns on the Wallbox parking to charge the vehicles both using our cell phones and so far it is great; bye - bye to the 16 amps charging periods!! I already had a software update through Bluetooth which was surprisingly fast, as living in a high-rise is difficult to connect through Wi-Fi. So far so good, I do recommend this charger!

    I did research for weeks on EV chargers even used some of my friends chargers but the Wallbox charger takes the cake such an awesome charger extremely simple to install and use the app is so simple and I set times and want to charge and it’s as simple as that. I installed outside due to not having a garage and let me tell you it’s been doing extremely well 10 out of 10.

    If you want the convenience of a good home electric vehicle charger then you want to give the Wall Box a try. We did and it is working great. You’ll need a good electrician to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet because this unit is NOT hardwired. Otherwise you can buy the hardwired version if so inclined. We like how this smart box can charge any EV currently made. The charging scheduler and notification features are top notch. The phone app is easy to use and has a ton of useful information. We have a Tesla so the adapter is required. Just snap the adapter in place and plug the charger into your car.

    The unit gives you a hefty 9 kwh on a 40 amp circuit. That’s plenty to satisfy your overnight charging needs.

    The unit is compact and is also rated for use outside your home. We placed ours in the garage and with 25 feet of cable it can easily hit the perimeter of your garage.

    We highly recommend the Wall Box and the local utility rebate helps make it affordable.

    I need a charging station to do one thing: charge my car reliably when I plug it in. Having a longer cable gives you more flexibility as to where you can park your car and still charge, so longer is better. A built in scheduler/timer is a nice to have, I have no interest in any other bells and whistles.

    The Wallbox has the longest available cable (25 ft, compared to the Chargepoint's 23 ft), is very easy to self install, is small and unobtrusive. And it costs about $100 less than fancier compeitors like the Chargepoint. It's worked reliably for the past three weeks since I installed it. It has wifi and bluetooth to enable you to use your phone app to monitor and set timers and see charging history. It sounds like the balancing feature that allows for charging multiple vehicles on the same circuit (with multiple wallboxes) might be nice future proofing, though I doubt I'll ever use that.

    A good low cost, simple, reliable charging station with the longest available cable.

    As others mentioned, the WiFi didn't work when I started setting it up. After the firmware updated completely, the Wallbox rebooted, and I quit and re-opened the app, WiFi was available and worked both home and away. The WiFi connection gives me all the same management options as bluetooth and connections more quickly. Bluetooth does let you add "services" which I'm not sure how those work, and don't seem necessary.

    The app lets you change the max output by dragging a slider. Dip switches or physical settings aren't needed.

    I was a bit nervous about the size. Some external reviews made it look pretty large. Instead it's relatively small, but still not tiny.

    I really appreciate the longer cord, and the rubberized connector. The connector feels significantly higher quality over my JuiceBox standard plug.

    I'd definitely buy a WallBox again.

    3’ of 6ga and 50amp non-gfci. Two hots and a ground (no neutral). Strait into studs. Made in Spain. Heard the connector was better than the 48 and it was lighter and less money, only need 32a. Electronics look good. Well put together and engineered. Software updated. iPhone app glitchy but worked fine. I’m not interested in features, it’s an appliance. We don’t have off-hour reduced rates.

    Chose this device for my new plug in hybrid car!

    Very simple doesn't take up much space on the wall. I like how I can set the schedule for charging per the times of day my rates are lowest. And adjust the amps too (but not as part of the schedule... Sad)...

    The cable is thick and I park my car outside, but my garage door is able to go down and it does not appear to damage the cable or affect the charge.

    The app works fine tho sometimes it won't connect via wifi if I'm too close but not quite close enough for Bluetooth... Sort of annoying.

    Qualifies for the $250 rebate that is available (state of California I think) too and it was a simple process!

    Re install... I already had the 220v roughed in, and one thing to note for the electrician!!! Make sure they install the recepticle thing upside down... See Pic... That is how the cord is configured otherwise it may be hard to bend it... It is in the user/Install guide but who reads those? (except me)

    All in all good purchase!

    This is a 40 amp charger, which is perfect for 50 amp circuits. Looking over the electrical codes for 240 v 50 amp service, the recommendation is consider line loss in the current delivery. Therefore this charger will not overload the 50 amp service installed in my garage. Looking over the thermal image, the unit is running cooler than the wires delivering the power which shows efficiency.

    The unit has both bluetooth and wi-fi connectivity. This is great for monitoring when you are out of range of bluetooth. The app allows you to vary the charge. I find this very useful because if you are going to charge your car overnight, there is no point in just slamming in the maximum rate. There is heat loss and the batteries will last longer when charged at a slower rate.

    Nits: I used google single sign on to authenticate with my phone. This doesn't work with Amazon Alexa or the web interface, which will only accept username and password.
