    This is the third Dyson that I own: V8, V10 and now V15. Like any other Dyson, the V15 is unbeatable in suction power: I have two dogs and one cat, and I love the ability of the Dyson to pick up everything, really everything, without the need to go over the same spot more than once. What is the upgrade I noticed right away from my V10? The brush is tangled free, and the number of accessories (some of them are really cool), which include extra battery and filter is impressive. In the video I am comparing my (old) V10 with this V15 in picking up my dogs hair. I am putting 4 stars instead than 5 because they could upgrade three major (or only) flaws that I really dislike . 1) It does not stands upright without support. This is a major flaw because I don't know how many times I had to look around the room to see where I can rest the cleaner just to pick up for example something from the floor or move furniture while vacuuming (if you have a Dyson, you know what I mean). And because of this issue my V10 fell on the floor and broke the battery. 2) you need to press the power all the time while in use. Why? Why you cannot design an on/off like other vacuum cleaners? 3) my V8 has a small canister but it can be emptied without detaching the wand....the V15 (like the V10) has a bigger one needs to have the wand detached...quite annoying, I would say.
    These issues are not dealbreakers, where in reality the ability of cleaning the floors in the most efficient way is what really matters. And for this point Dyson V15 deserves 5 stars.

    Ran this thing up against four of its competitors and I'm really pleased! Battery life is what you'd expect, and in most cases it matched their claims very well. I will say if you're vacuuming up large pieces on hardwood, it does push more of the stuff than it grabs (with the brush roll head, but realistically if you're vacuuming up like cereal on hardwood you should be using a straight tube or attachment, not the brush roll) which didn't happen with a Shark branded battery vac, but as I said that's a situation that basically shouldn't be occurring anyway. No issues at all with hair wrap or losing suction. If your house is large enough you'll either need to vacuum really often so there's not much to do each time, or maybe still use a corded vac, but for smaller spaces or smaller messes, pet hair cleanup and pretty much everything else, this vacuum is perfect!

    Dyson really thought of everything! I already owned a Dyson and loved it. I couldn't wait to get this to compare. I have a V11. With the V15 you get so much battery life! Dyson gives you 2 batteries and 2 chargers. You also get all your tools- crevice, small roller tool, and brush attachment. And to top it off this version has an attachment that allows you to put the head basically flat on the floor so you can get under coffee tables, couches, chairs, beds, etc. When you are done cleaning under something with a flick of your wrist you are back in regular cleaning mode. The only thing that I wish it had was an attachment holder that you can hook right on the vacuum. It has 3 modes to clean- auto cleaning mode- which actually detects the size of dirt that you are about to pick up and revs up the power as needed, eco mode, and turbo mode. The screen tells you the parts of dirt per million that you are picking up, including amount of duct mites! This is top of the line! It's definitely a great investment and something that will last and last. Dyson's customer service is amazing too. We had an issue with our V11 and called them up and they took care of our issue no questions asked. Great product and company!

    I absolutely love this vacuum. I almost feel that it has more power than my upright but that could just be the new vacuum feeling. This has been my go to vacuum for the upstairs since not only it is lightweight and easy to maneuver around, but it also comes with a wall mount for easy storage and charging.

    Another plus, nearly a surprise was that this came with an extra battery and charger. The attachment that lets you bend the vacuum 90 degrees to get under beds and furniture has been game changing for me to get to those very hard to reach spots. There are additional attachments meant for hair (which we need due to 2 dogs) and honestly I have yet to have any issue with either attachment getting hair wrapped up which is mind blowing to me. Emptying the bin is also way easier than even my handheld dyson pet vac and kind of fun. It's almost like a toy launcher has it just shoves all of the dirt out.

    Yes, this is a little more expensive but I have always loved dyson products and this one I feel does not disappoint. I have yet to need any customer service but I feel this is so solidly built, it will last a while. I really do appreciate the screen as well. It gives me a time left on battery so I know how much longer I can go. It does show particulates cleaned but after so long, those numbers seem to not mean a whole lot to me, it's the battery life that is such a huge deal. Sure, the time will sometimes change drastically depending on what you are vacuuming. Tougher spots automatically spin up the motor more which does eat into battery.

    So far, I have been able to vacuum the entire upstairs with just one charge but knowing not only do I have another battery but the charge time doesn't take all that long either. This has been a great vacuum.

    This is a very nice vacuum and is offered for the best price here, however I am still waiting for the magic of it. The battery life is ok, but you have to hold the on button down the entire time you are using it, that is super annoying. It does come with many cool add-ons. It is heavy, so you do feel like it is a quality vacuum. I just wish the container was bigger and that you did not have to hold the button down the entire time you are using it.

    We like Dysons products and have a few at home. We were a little skeptical about cordless vacuums for battery life and power. The Dyson V15 Detect Pro​ cordless vacuum cleaner has solved all of these. It comes with a battery life of 120 minutes, a spare battery and even a spare charger in case you want one on each floor. There is a wall mounted stand so you can store the vaccum without needing to use floor space. The weight is good for people to use to carry between floors.

    We have never seen a vacuum that did such a good job with stairs as this one. You will see the difference. We have been vacuuming our floors regularly and after using this vacuum, we can see it sucks in a lot of smaller particles that were missed by our previous vacuum cleaners.

    The display also shows you the dust particles count and proof of how dirty your floors or carpets were! There is a A piezo sensor continuously sizes and counts dust particles. I can happily do without knowing this!

    The suction is powerful and does a great job with dirt, hair on the floors and adjusts itself to different surfaces. The cost is high but if you follow the principle of "You have to only buy once" then this is the one to buy so that you will not have to replace this frequently.
