    The FlexBrew Trio is a handy coffee maker that has nice versatility, allowing you to make a pot of coffee with up to 12 cup servings, or just a single serving, with selectable sizes of 6oz, 8oz, 10oz, and 12oz. The included single serving basket is perfect for using your own grind and creates a flavorful brew, which is superior to the reusable K-Cup basket I was using before, which holds less grounds.
    The K-Cup adapter works well, and compared to my classic K55 Keurig, it makes better tasting coffee. I think this is because the FlexBrew uses higher pressure.
    The drip brewer is pretty standard, so I don't have much to say about it, other than it works and makes coffee about as well as any other I have used. A reusable basket does not come with the coffee maker, so you'll need to plan to buy one if you like using those.
    A feature I really like is the "Bold" brew setting. It basically brews your coffee much slower, but allows fuller extraction from your grounds. I notice a difference, and use it when I have the time.

    Note: This brewer has 2 separate tanks; 1 for the drip brew/carafe, and one for the single serve brewer. I was confused by some reviews because apparently there is a model that does not have a reservoir for the K-Cup brewer, but just uses the amount of water you put into the machine. The FlexBrew Trio model does have a reservoir tank that holds 56oz of water for the K-Cup side.

    I only have a couple of gripes about this coffee maker.

    1) The temperature of the coffee is noticeably lower than any other K-Cup coffee maker I have used. This is not a defect, but seems to be a standard setting that cannot be changed. Although it makes the coffee drinkable right away, if you like your coffee on the hotter side, but add cold creamer or cold foam, you may need to microwave your coffee for a few seconds first.

    2) Some disposable K-Cups deform in this coffee maker, which can lead to a bad brew and spilling grounds into your cup and all over the inside of the machine. It isn't a problem with brands like Starbucks or Maxwell House, but I have experienced this with brands from ALDI like "Barissimo". It is likely due to the higher pressure than what a Keurig uses which I mentioned earlier. I won't say this is a problem exactly, because this is an issue with the K-Cup maker, but just be aware of this before you buy that 120ct of K-Cups.

    I wanted a machine that would use the K cups for single serving as well as a craft side. This machine is incredibly simple and elegant and quiet! I wish I had found it years ago. I am getting one for my mother for Mother’s Day as well.

    I’ve had this coffee machine for 7 years, and it just stopped working today. I loved this coffee machine as it reliably made coffee every day. I would definitely recommend it if you’re looking for a dependable coffee machine that gets the job done. I will not be buying the same model I will be buying the same brand but with no k-cup and only the pot.

    Had this several weeks. The carafe brewer works well. Easy interface and timer setting. Love that coffee aroma in the house when I wake. The K-pod feature is great when in a rush or only one having a cup. BIG BONUS = using the included single serve grounds attachment makes it super convenient to make French Press. I just place the press in there and leave the grounds out of the pod then run the hot water into the press. Voila! Super easy to make a travel mug of tea!

    Found that we were drinking more and more coffee in our house and decided using a normal Keurig didn't make sense. We decided we would start making coffee by the pot. This lets us do that yet also still use K-Cups as well as brew a single cup using ground coffee. We have made 30 to 40 pots of coffee so far as well as many single cups and it works like a champ. I would recommend this to anyone. The Keurig brand version costs a lot more so why not save a few dollars?.

    We bought several years ago and it has been used at least once a day ever since without any broken parts or system failures. it is so nice to be able to brew a single cup with a pod or use your own coffee just as easily as making a 12 cup pot. A single cup bruise in about three minutes and a full pot and five or six. We added a base to hold brew pod and an accessory rack to create an awesome coffee station. it works as good today as the day we bought it. It is very easy to use and clean.

    I have had a Keurig, I have had an Nespresso, and even just an average old coffee pot. THIS RIGHT HERE IS IT. I love that this coffee machine gives you options.

    On days where I just want to throw a pod in and get on my way, I can. My favorite coffee doesn't come in a Keurig pod, NO WORRIES, I can simply use the attachment it comes with to put ground coffee in and make myself a cup! Needing a full pot for your family or have guests? This has the option for that as well!

    This is the perfect machine for those that need a bit of each coffee machine in their lives, my parents had one and I sold my Nespresso for this because I loved it so much!
