    This air fryer over was recommended by two family members, so I was encouraged! It does circulate air well and foods come out nicely. It also toasts well, which was a concern when researching for this. So it works as it should and I gave it three stars for this. The feature I dislike the most is using the menu. I have to press "menu" NINE times (with a beep every time) to get to the toast setting, which is used the most often. It also beeps when opening the door and when closing, plus turning it on and off. Just so...many...loud...beeps. Placing the toast setting, which many people use daily, near the end of the menu is poor design. The manual setting does not help with this because it defaults to 20 minutes and you have to adjust the time down to 4 minutes and the temp up, which would be pressing the setting buttons literally 20ish times (with a beep for each one). Enough about the beeps. The other thing I wish it included is a stainless tray for baking or for placing below a basket. It has a drip tray on the bottom, but I want a tray that is more like a cookie sheet, especially for items where oil wants to drip off and it makes everything too messy. I'd be happy to purchase this as an accessory as well, but I don't see they make anything like this. Therefore, I'd consider this unit "hard to clean," since oil gets everywhere (just for like roasting veggies with some olive oil -- I don't do anything particularly greasy or truly "fried"). Thank you for letting me rant about the beeps!

    This review is based off the customer support I received from the manufacture, not Amazon.

    This was a gift for my wife, she loved it and she made everything in this, even a rotisserie chicken and it came out great. It barely fit and we got the smallest chicken we could find but we made it work. After about 3 months the handle broke. This happened with normal use of opening and closing the oven door. I guess you need to be extremely gentle when opening and closing the door as to not break the cheap plastic.

    **Customer support experience**
    I contacted the manufacture's customer support about the broken handle. They would not replace the handle but instead offered me a lesser, smaller unit as a replacement but only if I sent them a picture of me cutting the power cord.. What ?? They would not send a replacement until they received a photo of me cutting the power cord. They would not budge on this. I Iet them know I was not happy with a lesser smaller unit but they did not care. I knew the handle would not last long with one side broken and this was my only option. I asked if I could at least use the existing unit until the replacement arrived and this was not acceptable to them. We used this everyday for cooking meals for the fam and I didn't want to cut the power cord if it was still usable in the mean time.

    They were very insistent that I cut the power cord before sending any type of replacement out. I have never heard of this before and didn't understand why this was necessary. They were not understanding at all and offered me no other options. I will ultimately end up buying a new one but will make sure it's better quality first and from a different manufacture.

    I will not be purchasing any other products from this manufacture again based on their customer support.

    I would have simply returned the item but it was past the 30 day return window.

    Update: after 3 weeks of use the door does not close tightly now and the light stays on and with it not closing it does not start to cook the food until i hold it close and keep it closed (but once it starts i can let go of the door and it stays cooking ) its not a huge deal just a bit inconvenient…
    It took a bit to figure things out, like do not put chicken quarters on the skewers lol i stuffed them in the basket rotisserie and worked much better apparently the food has to not touch the bottom for it to rotate!!! I will try my hand at shish kebabs soon this is a great addition to my cooking appliances … i got it cause someone took my air-fryer and i figured i would get another one but that it could do more than just dry fry my food !!!!

    En general, estoy a gusto con la compra, ya llevo usando un mes el horno y ha funcionado perfectamente.

    Pros:
    *Fácil de usar, los accesorios facilitan mucho la labor.
    *Muy fácil de limpiar.
    *Muy buen equipo en comparación con el precio.
    *Excelente sabor de los alimentos.
    *El catálogo con las recetas es un plus.

    Contra:
    *El "pero" más grande que tengo es que el sonido al oprimir cada botón es muy fuerte, es lo que más lo hace molesto.
    *La altura del horno es considerable, no cabe en una alacena normal en Colombia.
    *Es necesario que cuando el equipo esté en funcionamiento no esté sobre elementos inflamables. Por esta razón ni siquiera he intentado usarlo sobre una mesa de madera normal.

    I've had this air fryer for over 4 years now and I love it every bit as much today as I did when I first got it. More, probably, as I didn't know the first thing about cooking with an air fryer when I first got it. I don't understand the reviews that talk about clean up (use a liner - why would you not use a liner?) and auto shut-off (make sure it's on manual, not automatic, and set the time yourself). This machine is magic. I rarely use my oven except for big cakes and that's only because I love the process of making baked goods like I'm on Bake Off. LOL I initially chose this one because it lets me dehydrate fruits and veggies for a fraction of the time it would take in an oven and at a fraction of the cost at a store. This thing is the best. Just buy it.

    I use this product 2 or 3 times a day.
    It replaces a coffee roaster by using the round cage like rotisserie, replaces a food dryer for small batches of herbs or food, and replaces my oven which I now use to store pots and pans.
    Instead of frying bacon, I now cook at 450F for 5 minutes.
    I've used other 'air fryers'... didn't like them. You burn your hands or wrists getting things in and out of the bin type and you have to preheat them, which is an annoying/unnecessary step.
    Get the warranty and save the box! These ovens break down and the turn around time was a month this last go around. That said, I would buy this oven anyway because it's saved me the price of it by not burning food anymore. It shuts itself off.
    I'm on my 4th one of these. I've had to buy it twice. That is a down side, however, it's also a testament to how indispensable this machine has become in my kitchen.
    There's a learning curve to using it, but once you get it down, it's faster than a regular oven.
    Another plus: it's easy to pick up and use outside in the summer so you're not heating your house while cooking. (You'll need a roof over it, of course.)
    I gave this 5 stars in spite of it breaking down because of its versatility and convenience. I also use it a LOT! In summer, it can be going constantly for a day or two drying herbs, so the amount of time I use this thing may be a factor in how often this model has died on me.

    The packaging was well protected and arrived with no damage. It came with all the accessories, air fryer and dehydrator cook books. I skimmed through the cook books and they seem great. Super simple, feverish ingredients and easy to follow. Definitely got some inspirations from them with my own ideas. I got this air fryer because of the rotisserie and dehydrator functions. I only used it once to reheat leftovers. Worked great with equal temperature all around and done in 5 minutes. Will give updates on the other functions
    Update 1/19/24- air fryer still works great. But finding some of the quirks. The beeping is obnoxiously loud. I couldn’t find a way to turn off the beeping without taking it apart ( doing this will probably void any “warranty” ) I found a video on how to take the top off and found the buzzer on a circuit board. I took electrical tape and covered the top of the buzzer. This lowered the volume to a very comfortable level. When cooking with multiple trays, the top one will cook much, much faster than the bottom tray. The tumbler is great for roasting veggies and potatoes. But it very difficult to clean. The last thing I would bring up is the dehydrator setting. You cannot change the temperature ( it stays at 130) but you can change the duration. I got this air fryer to try my hand at dehydrating. And not all my recipes have a temp of 130. You could set it manual and change the temperature but the longest duration is a hour while the process can take anywhere to 4-10 hours. Depending on what you are dehydrating.
    I would still give this a great rating considering the price. But this company makes a newer version of this airfryer with a second heating unit at the bottom. That probably helps to evenly heat multiple trays. If I didn’t buy this one, I probably would have got the newer one.

    One week ago, I bought another brand of air fryer. Everything seemed perfect about it when it arrived but the second time I used it it had an electrical shortage and was dead. I was so disappointed after doing all the research.!!! my sister and I bought the same air fryer and she ended up returning hers too afraid that it would have an electrical short like mine. When the gowise arrived, the delivery person left it on the stairs 2/3 of the way from the front door. The box and unit weighed 32 pounds. It was a challenge to roll that box up the stairs, but I was determined because I had no choice -the other air fryer was so light, I could carry it up the stairs in the box by myself. So I approached this air fryer with much trepidation I like the gowise brand. I'm actually replacing a Gowise air fryer that I really loved for three years. When I finally had the energy to unbox the air fryer and install it I felt hopeful. First it's a solid machine well-made and impressive. It comes with a generous amount of accessories. I've read reviews criticizing the beeping and it's true. There is a lot of beeping when selecting the correct time and temperature. A knob to control the digital temperature and timer would be an improvement. Other than that it's a spectacular machine. I was surprised to find that the first thing that we fell in love with was lightly toasting tortillas to eat them as chips they were so light and so perfectly toasted. It was amazing, I was able to note the time and temperature to be created again and again 360° for three minutes! We made onion rings and apple crisp pie and heated up meat pies. Everything was delicious and perfectly heated. I'm excited to discover what else I will be making , I've had an air fryer for the last four years and normally use it just for quick heat ups and fries and finishing ribs out of the oven. But I assure you that the options this model will give you will expand the things I will be able to create in the kitchen , I'm looking forward to having my cousin over for dinner for kebabs and roasted potatoes. I know it's going to be wonderful but my favorite thing to make in the air fryer is hashbrowns. I zap whole potatoes in the microwave for four minutes. Then I cut and toss them with oil and seasonings air fry them on french fry setting and it's perfect every time you have to try it!
